William and Ellen Beaver of Liverpool born abt 1805
« on: Sunday 05 July 20 00:16 BST (UK) »
I am looking to find out what happened to William and Ellen Beaver, William being a stone mason originally of Kirkby, Yorkshire, after the 1851 census. His married Ellen Toogood, a widow who was originally Ellen Potter, in Liverpool and had as far as I know two sons, George and Thomas who died as infants, and one daughter, Martha. Ellen had one son from her previous married, John Toogood.

I have managed to find them on the 1841 in Walton on the Hill, Liverpool on Hope Street, and on the 1851 at Howard Street. His surname here is listed as Bevars. I can find a marriage record of their daughter Martha to William Shepherd in 1868 but I can't find any of the family on the 1861 census.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There is a birth of a William Beevers in South Kirkby, Yorkshire (now in Wakefield) to Thomas Beevers in 1805. So probably is the Kirkby in Yorkshire.
