In 1861, these two were both servants in the household of Richard BARTON at the "Farm House" in South Weston.   However two houses along is a SMITH household:

Frederic SMITH, Head, 25, Ag Lab, b Oxon South Weston
Ann SMITH, Wife, 25, Dressmaker, b Berks Reading
Frederic W SMITH, Son, aged 1 b Oxon Lewknor

I wonder whether this is the family you are looking for ? - you need someone with access to the 1851 census to help.
