Austria Sutterlin handwriting
« on: Tuesday 14 July 20 13:40 BST (UK) »
Hi guys,

I have received some more pages from the 'Austrian diary'. 1 page is written in the Sutterlin style and I cannot read it, let alone translate it, with which I would like your help, please.

The other 2 pages are in the 'neutral' style and I am doing my best to transcribe and translate them, given the help from previous posts.

Thanks again,  Dave.

Just found out that Pav 20 is an abbreviation for Pavillion 20.
The term Pavillion was quite a common name for a psychiatric ward in Vienna

Hi DC,

Thanks for the translation and the explanation of Pav20. (Kathe did have some mental issues and he eventually divorced her, and brought the children up on his own for a number of years.)

Regards, Dave.
