The John Henry Lewis who married Mary Jane Powell can be found in 1911 at a different address with a son called Oswald-details of his birth below

This is exactly the district where at least 2 of his children's birth's were registered.

I would encourage you to rethink "as I have and probably a lot of us on rootschat have" that you stop and either order the Lewis/Powell marriage cert (which I think is the wrong one) or the Lewis/Thomas marriage cert.

As an aside a good contender for his birth is:

One of the children is a direct descendant of my friend.

Thomas Emrys Lewis is her grandfather.

Who & when her grandfather married?
Do they have marriage certificate giving his father's name & occupation?
