Great Information again.
In the 1911 Census, there was John Senior, and his son John Jnr (photographer) and his wife Christina. 69 Duff Street.
John Snr was involved in shooting as in 1910 he was shot in the back at Duff House whilst inspecting a trap and taken to Hospital.
Christina dies in 1923 (age 40). John Marries again in 1925 to Bessie Hutcheon. They move to stay in Aberdeen, Tuesday 22 May 1928 (P&J) John Ritchie is mentioned at Glenbirnie House, Skene Street. So when he came back from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) in 1929 he gave that address - his father's - John Jnr.
Unsure where he went after that, the Frank Ritchie at 132 Duff St appears to be an Engineer (car) and the one injured in WW1
The book, I have. more photos about boats although does show he took photos during the war through a case with a hole in it of damage, despite him being an official photographer for the Office of Information and an ARP role.
Frank died in 1954 age 55 at the Chalmers Hospital in Banff.
I have been speaking to Frank's son - also Frank, although he was young when his father died, and is looking to get info for an aunt and his sister to a lot of the gaps in the info.
