Help deciphering occupation please
« on: Thursday 25 August 05 11:04 BST (UK) »
I would appreciate some opinions on this occupation please.

I can read 'Member of the Royal College of Surgeons' but am struggling with the rest  ???

It's the 1861 census RG9/100 folio 100 p.35, Charles Cyril Hicks.

In 1881 he is just described as a Doctor of Medicine, cannot find him in 1871 at all.

Appreciate any help.

Steph.

Hi I think it says
Licentiate of the Apothecary's Company
Practicing as a General Practitioner

(I did get worried that he was a vet too but that seems to be the entry below ;D)

In 1871 he is under Charles C Hides in Ancestry.
Would you like the full details?
