Where are my sent PMs?

I'm sure the answer to this will be really straightforward and I'll feel embarrassed for having had to ask.

My Messages on Rootschat shows the personal messages sent to me but where are my replies?

To the top left of the page you have

RootsChat.Com »Personal Messages »Inbox
Messages.  Actions.  Preference

Click Messages and it will appear in a drop down box

Thanks, I'd tried that Rosie, the only options it gives are:

Manage labels
Manage rules
Change settings

There doesn't seem to be anything in the setting that I need to change

You are looking under Preferences which is to the right of the 3 choices. You need to look under
Messages.

Under that heading is
New Message
Inbox
Sent Items.

I was right,   Go into 'My messages' above and select read your messages. On that page you will get what I posted above

Read Your post cos I always get in a pickle when sorting any messages out.. so there you go I too am a 'clot'

My notification of new PMs stays stubbornly at 13, there are many more than that!
Also today a sent PM has not got to who I intended but has come to me!twice!!
Don’t know what is wrong ,it will be me I am sure!
