His father was Joseph Dickins married Anne Heady 1860
His father was David Dickins married Maria Browning circa 1825

1841 census David and Maria are living in Wixamtree Bedfordshire.

Haven't been able to get back any further however David Dickins was born circa 1804 and Thomas Dickins born circa 1805.
So if there is any connection it's possibly closer to this generation
