Please could someone help ,I am searching through the electoral rolls for my aunt and uncle who lived in New Earswick ,but there seems to be many different areas this is where I have come unstuck ,I can describe where they lived but I dont know the area ,if its any help they lived a short walking distance from Rowntrees and the house had the river running at the bottom of the garden the house was once an old peoples home ,it was then sold as separate houses this is all I have I know its a long shot ,but any help would be appreciated

Could you possibly give us names (assuming they are no longer living) and a timescale?

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Sorry I forgot the year and name !!!!
Uncles name was William Albert Jackson
His wife was Rose Jackson nee Harrison
Also the reason I am looking for them is Rose"s mother Alice Harrison nee Robinson who went to live with them. I would like to know when she died .
The year is a bit dodgy I would say deffinatly 50s-60 plus .
