William Nolan Dock Worker
« on: Thursday 27 August 20 22:31 BST (UK) »
My Great Grandfather William "Bill" Nolan was a dock worker from Upper Erne Street.
He died in 1938 after a splinter he got in his hand unloading cargo, infected and caused him heart failure.
We know very little on him apart from this. Wondering if anyone would be related to him or even have any more information on him or the Dockworkers of the time, the pubs they frequented etc.. or similar incidents (1930s).
Any good links or photos of the time would be appreciated.

Many Thanks.
