Commonwealth Ear Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Royal Navy Stoker 2 nd Class R Muir who died 27/10/1918. Service no :- K/53692 -  Buried Kirkcaldy (Dysart) Cemetery.

The private memorial no longer provides adequate commemoration. The commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

He was the son of Hugh Muir, coal miner, & Janet Hunter, married, 1st Nov 1882, New Monklands
