Leonard Cecil Millard 1909 to 1939

Leonard Cecil Millard was born 25 Apr 1909 and baptized 7 May 1909 at St Philip, Lambeth, Surrey. I have been told that he was raised by his grandparents Alfred and Margaret Millard at Herne Hill but have not found any evidence for this.

Leonard Cecil Millard died 2q 1939 Witney 3a 1484 in Oxfordshire – not sure if he married or not.

Could anyone check this out for me?

Have you found any marriage for him on freebmd?  Possibility in 1935?

Have you looked for him on the 1911 census?

Possible birth of a son in 1937 - private tree on Ancestry shows he died 2010 but no death showing on GRO online etc so he may have died outside England

I've checked SP and he didn't die in Scotland.  Have sent you a pm re 1911

1932 Electoral register for 39 Poplar Walk Rd - still with grandparents

1938 ER  for Cheltenham Gloucs - Leonard Cecil & Muriel Esme Millard so right marriage

EDIT

1934 ER shows Muriel Esme Blake with parents George James & Annie Emmeline.  Freebmd marriage 1901 - Annie was nee Watts
