Essentially, I am querying whether the family in 1851 which I posted earlier is the same family you have researched in your earlier posts. I hope so  :)

Liverpool marriage 1850
Thomas Weir and Mary Ann Hullahan

1851 John Weir mother’s maiden name Houlihon - June quarter Liverpool
1853 Thomas Weir mother’s maiden name Houlihon March quarter Liverpool

In your other thread (linked previously) you ask re Thomas and Mary Ann in Swansea
1871 5456/111/37 - Swansea and transcribed as ‘Weer’

Thomas 49 yrs b Ireland
Mary Ann 36 yrs b Ireland
Mary Jane 13 yrs b Northumberland
Sarah Ann 11 yrs b Devonport
Kate 9 Yrs b Woolwich
Elizth 6 Yrs  B Swansea

I can’t see a birth for Mary Jane nor Catherine
1860 Sarah Ann with mother’s name Holland in Stoke Damarel
1864 Elizabeth -mmn Holland Swansea

You had mentioned that you thought mother could be Sarah not Mary Ann and, I think the tree I mentioned  might have linked to a family with mother Sarah but have not checked that again.

It could well be that Houlihan has been recorded as Holland and they are the same family.
