Sstain, Sheila, just found this which you may already have seen, it’s not much but it does mention your Hartley Rd, Children’s institute towards the bottom of the page http://www.workhouses.org.uk/Nottingham/#Homes
I’m sure it’s coincidence, but my Grandfather/mother Campion lived in Ossington street which is just one the right of the map.
The article also mentions homes in Sneinton
