Living person search

I know Rootschat is not for searching living people, however we need to find what happened or the where about of the of Father of his child given up for adoption in Aust.

We know he moved to New Zealand and applied for citizenship in the 70's.
Have applied for the listed record on the NZ Archives in July this year, had an immediate auto reply but nothing since.

Is there anyway of searching in NZ..... maybe an electoral roll..... or phone books? although most people are not using land lines or have private numbers these days. or maybe  even newspapers.

Would appreciate any suggestions of ways to search........ time is running out.

I have found and spoken with the wanted family.... and in so proven the relationship..
