Foley Farm Fatfield Washington
« on: Monday 21 September 20 15:19 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have any information about and the  location of Foley Farm in Washington. I have an ancestor who is recorded as being born there on the 30th August 1832 and baptised at Bethel Independent Church in Chester-le-Street on the 13th September 1832. His father's occupation was a Hind. On the various census records he gives his birthplace as Chester-le-Street, Durham, Fatfield and Portobello which I believe is in Birtley.

There was a Folly House just outside Birtley and a short distance north of Portobello  :-\
