Using the initials ‘P D’, there are these entries in institutions in 1911 within a few years range.

Thanks heywood, never thought to search for initials. Although, seems so silly that they just wrote down initials at these schools! His middle name is 'Joseph' so I'm going to try and see if there's even a 'P.J.D.' somewhere but not holding out on much hope
