I think you will need to purchase 1922 marriage to confirm George’s fathers name and then you should be able to find him on 1891,1901 & 1911 UK census with his parents

There is a George Topham in Strathcona Edmonton in 1921 - arrived 1919
This one born 1891 - single - freight handler.
There is an Annie Sillett born 1889 already in Edmonton 1921 -  arrived 1914 according to this census - servant (housework) for the Dickins family.
