Leeds photo studio help, please

Hi

I am researching a signed postcard (which I don't possess) of a footballer which has no printed details on it.
I know all about the player and his career, I just want to try to track the name/location of the photographer.



The postcard is embossed in the bottom right hand corner but when it was sold on eBay the vendor was unable to decipher the details.
Apparently it read something like “Melding[?], Albion Pl., Leeds”
I know that Swan was a Leeds player by this time, having transferred from Huddersfield in 1921, so a Leeds location would certainly make sense.

Can anyone please help?

Not sure if this will be of any help.  There is a 1920s photo of an unknown football team (on ebay) and the photographer is Tillotson, Leeds.

Could he have been the one who took the photo of which you have an image?

Just out of curiosity I entered the Tillotson name in the 1939 and included photographer.  There is one living in Leeds born 1904.

You should be able to find him yourself by entering Tillotson, 1904, Leeds and photographer in the occupation box.

Definitely a studio more like "Melding".
