I returned to the Archive on December 16th, and upon looking again at the requested register, it was apparent, when focused upon dates, that the record appears to not be, all inclusive, within the date range as catalogued.
I have asked the Archivist to review their catalogue listing for this register, as there is only one listing with a 1908 date, then the entry date jumps to 1913, and then keeps on skipping. As does the assigned engagement numbers.
There are no 1910 – 1911 listings, and I can not see the names you are interested in, in the 7/8 & 9/10 page listings covering 1935-36. Photos taken will be forwarded.
To keep the proprietor’s happy I have transcribed some of the historic data on the first page, to show how little was recorded in the years you are interested in. And what appear to be sequential gaps.
As the hospital’s founding goes back to 1865, under several managements, there would have been earlier records, and possibly other contemporary records, that may have been saved and archived, under differing descriptions.
If you find other listings of interest, please feel free to ask again, and I will look them up upon return visits to the Auckland branch, of Archives NZ.
