Paint.net is also a good freebie and that will allow you to reduce the size of the image.  However, there are dodgy copies online so best only to download from a trusted source.  Cnet downloads are safer than just googling and downloading elsewhere.

It really is easiest to get the certificate from Scotlands People. It only costs 6 credits  (£1.50). Compare that with the cost of Eng & Wales certs AND you get so much more info.

Trying to read a muzzy cert from someone's media file on Ancestry just hurts the eyes.
