on ancestry it is under Jno Norton. Baptized 3 March 1805 St Peter, Thanet Kent

There is also a John Henry Norton 1804 but he was baptized at the Independent Church, so are you looking for just plain John or John Henry?

His full name was John Henry Norton, but quite often his middle name wasn't entered in the records.

The entry you found on Ancestry  - Jno Norton. Baptized 3 March 1805 is the same John Henry.

I now have the record from the register of Archdeaconry Baptisms which says/confirms they are twins.

Thank you everyone for your kind help :)

NORTON (Kent), KEECH (Dorset), MOOR / MOORE (Kent), HOCKING (Dorset / Somerset), LEVI (City of York), SANDWELL (Kent), CHAFFIN  (Dorset / Somerset), STRONG (Dorset)
