Surname not correct but there is an Eva Conary age 14 who is a servant.  Might be worth ruling her out.
Doesn't help with Sarah though  :-\

Just for info as I wanted to put all children to bed,

Amy Ethel married as Conrady on 25.12.1922 to George Ellis Francis White (image on Anc)

They appear on 1939 war register

1 son born 1926 mmn Conradi

Amy died 1982 Wandsworth.

Hi Milliepede and John

Thank you for your further input to resolve my problem.

I have checked and there appears to be no Eva Conary born between 1894 to 1898 so I think that this could well be Eva. It would appear at times the Conradi surname was not always spelt the same way.

Thank you for the update on Sarah and for looking for her death. She just seems to have disappeared. There are a lot of Sarah Harris's dying between 1900 and 1912 and it is very hard to pinpoint which one could be Sarah, if any at all. To date I can not find Sarah on the 1911, but that does not mean she has died.

Thank you both.

I see her mother is still alive in 1911 and has helpfully filled in number of children born/died.

Can you account for those that have died to see if Sarah is included or not?

Could help to know whether she died before 1911 or after.

She could also have married and died under another surname.

Hi Milliepede and Kloumann

I have checked my records regarding Sarah's mother on 1911 and I can account for the four children who have died, so it would appear that Sarah is still alive somewhere in 1911 either as Sarah Harris or as you say she could have married.

At present I am not signed up to Find my Past.

Thank you for your continued response.

Regards

Hi everyone
It’s been amazing to read all your replies although I will be studying them a lot closer after this reply.
Sarah Harris born Little Hadham is my maternal great grandmother. From what my mother told me she joined George Hammonds household as a servant but was made pregnant by him. This child was Eva Marie my grandmother who as you know died in 1964. George Hammond accused her (Sarah) of holding a knife to his throat when awakening and she was put in an asylum.
The children were told she had died and it wasn’t until my grandmother was much older did she find her, as the asylum regularly advertised for relatives to claim patients. A colleague reading the newspaper that day said to my grandmother “ your maiden name was Conradi wasn’t it?” Quite a story eh guys?
