There are 3 William Elden Rump baptisms at Banningham:

bp.3/4/1814, son of John and Ann
bp.12/11/1815, son of Samuel and Deborah
bp.16/6/1818, son of William Elden and Anne

The 1818 William married a Mary Ann Palmer 12/11/1839 Banningham

Of the other 2, one William Elden Rump buried May 1837 Banningham aged 23 - of Hildoveston and I believe the other is your man.

I think you are going to need the marriage certificate of William Rump and Mary Blanchflower married Mar. qtr.1844 Wayland to establish whether your William is the son of Samuel and Deborah or John and Ann.

As discussed on your other thread, Mary Blanchflower nee Ainger born Carbrooke, Norfolk as was a her brother Francis - both their baptisms have been transcribed (and indeed look like) Aingey:

Francis bp.28/4/1811 Carbrooke, son of John and Elizabeth
Mary bp. 23/5/1813 Carbrooke, dau. of John and Elizabeth

Annette
Scopes (One-Name Study - Worldwide)
Suffolk - Grist, Knights, Bullenthorpe, Watcham
Scotland - Spence, Horne, Cowan, Moffat
London -  Monk

Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.   Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow.   Just walk beside me and be my friend.

That's a lot of William Elden Rumps. Thankyou, this is stellar work. Got to get my hands on the marriage then. Thank you again, I think your right. It's one of the other two.

Francis & Mary Ainger plus others.   My Aingers all seem to live around Fakenham in North Norfolk.
