William Bradley died Fermoy camp 1915- any info?
« on: Monday 26 October 20 20:29 GMT (UK) »
My great, great uncle died in Fermoy camp aged 19 in 1915 after only a week in British army, with seizure recorded as his cause of death.  I wondered whether there would be any local records of this, especially around the unusual cause of death and any reasons his body was buried in Cork and wasnt returned to his family in Derry?
Thanks

There is a newspaper snippet mentioning him
Derry Journal 15th February 1915.

Sorry, I don’t have access to the details.

Welcome to Rootschat, Anthony.

The newspaper mentions Clifton Street as the address so this looks like William and family in 1911. His father is James.

If you want to search your family, it would be best to start a new thread.
