My Half Uncle

I am trying to find the name of my Half uncle to add him to the tree. His mum was my nan called Jessie Biddle and my Dad is Colin Edge. Literally at a dead end until the DNA results from ancestry come back.

Do you know if your nan was married before your Edge grandfather? If not look for births with surname Biddle with mother's maiden name the same. If she was then surnames of that first marriage with mother's maiden name Biddle. You can find out if she was married before by obtaining the marriage certificate of her and your Edge grandfather. [this would cost about £11 from GRO.gov.uk] but your family might already have it.   

As nanny jan says, you need to remove any names of living people from your post. To do that, in that post, click on 'Modify' at top right & remove the names.

We also need details of where and when, even a rough guess, the birth took place.
