Wow!

A lovely person who i met in the London archives told me  about Rootschat, she was a good help to fellow Rootschatters,  she used the name Meliora,  one of life's lovely people no longer with us

I learned about this site on the BBC board too and migrated over here in Feb, 2006. I remember the lovely late Rabbit B, Jc26red, Paulatoo and Kesannah amongst others. I came over to have some photos restored and was so fascinated by it that I bought the software and taught myself to restore and colour.

Absolutely, Carol, this post has reminded me again of Rabbit B and Paulatoo particularly.  Rabbit is much missed.

Good morning,

17th sept 2010 at 1714, so not as long in the tooth as some on here😁😁. I was looking for family trees online and googled my maternal grandfathers name + family tree. Up popped a post from someone with a group photo containing a picture of my 3x great grandmother.

I’m the oldest so far, in Rootschat years, all the fours..04/04/04. I came here from GenesReunited. Lovely lady called Max directed me here, been in and out ever since. Pretty much all the help I’ve needed and questions asked have been fulfilled by the generosity of fellow Rootschatters.
I always direct anyone I come across with an interest in their family history to Rc 😊
