I am searching for the baptism of William Heady of Surrey (married to Charlotte Sink 27 Nov 1785 at Ockham).  A baptism appears for a William Ead on 30 Jun 1765 in St.Peter's Woking, just five miles away.

I have found various spellings of the name Heady, including Hedey, Edey, Eddy.  A name history search lists the name Ead as a different name, but I am inclined to think in this case, so close in area, that it is just another spelling of the same name.

Has anyone any thoughts on this?  Has anyone else linked Ead and Heady in Surrey?  Many thanks.

What about chr of William Heady, parents William and Ann, on 13 Jan 1754, at Send/Ripley?
