Jeff, such a poignant day for you, good to hear that you had a lovely meal in honour of Nick's birthday and people's thoughtfulness made it extra special.
Caroline, well done on getting gifts sent off to Oz, hope your son is pleased with the lifetime supply of Marmite! Good to hear that the craft warehouse is doing so well through all this. I suppose crafts are one of the hobbies that many people took up in the last lockdown, let's hope they continue so that associated businesses can continue to thrive.
MH, I have a built in satnav but I've occasionally used the one on Google maps, it's very efficient and is up to date. It would probably have directed you to an alternative route and might even have warned you about it before you got there. Too late now of course but may be worth a try in future.
(The painting is going well thanks
)
LM, maybe you'll get to sort out the loft during the coming lockdown, would also have the benefit of giving you some time alone.
Annette, good luck with the new phone, mine has so many detailed settings on it that it took me a couple of weeks to get round it all! That'll keep you occupied during lockdown! LM, you can just buy a phone outright and take out a SIM only contract, works out cheaper. I bought my new one for exactly the same reason as you, the keys were sticking, it only gets worse. Good luck
