Burial not showing on online records.
« on: Wednesday 04 November 20 12:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi I have found a burial for a person that could be a possible family member even though there’s a typo on it.
I found the burial in the book but cannot seem to find it anywhere online in the records. Is there any other way I can find it through online church records at St Anne and Nicholas? As I am trying to find the grave.

It’s for a Gordon Wallace but it’s spelt Wallice which is a typo and it has him down as living at chesterfield st, Liverpool his date of death was June 27th 1829 number 799 in the book.

Regards Gary.
Interested in the Wallace’s from Ballymena and the Shields from Carrickfergus.

Image is available on Ancestry.  I used surname of "Wallace" but asked for "sounds like" - seems to be transcribed as Willice!

There is no reference to a grave number.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

That record is online at Ancestry - Lancashire Church of England Deaths and Burials.
I can’t see any other online information.

There is a description of St Anne church Liverpool on the www.lan-opc.org.uk site including the information that the graveyard was closed for burials in the 1850s,. The church was rebuilt 1871 and demolished in 1967.

Hi Jon, I found that this morning which means Gordon is the uncle of the Orange Lodge GM Robert Hugh Wallace, same as my Gt grandfathers name.

That’s a real shame if the grave isn’t there anymore, I am wondering why there is hard,y anything about him in the clan Wallace book?
All it states is RN officer and death 1830, when it’s 1829, no family members stated unlike the rest of Robert of Beechmount children.

Church is often called St Anne Richmond. I've been trying to find out if gravestone inscription records are available anywhere but can't find any mention of them.
