looking for who lived at an address
« on: Thursday 19 November 20 14:59 GMT (UK) »
I have searched 1939 register, Family Search and Ancestry but cannot find what I am looking for which is the name of who owned a certain house in 1939.
Can anyone give me any ideas of where else I can look
Thank you

When you searched 1939 did you search via address or via surname?  My reason for asking is that via FindMyPast you can search for an address.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

You won't find out who owned a particular house, just who lived there at the time.
