No obvious birth reg for Maisie under Burrows or Meredith.  Quite a gap between her & next child

The 1911 census shows 6 children born and 5 still living so I assume it's Maysie that's gone

What about this birth and death in 1901?

Have found the outgoing entry on Ancestry - departed Liverpool 17 Dec 1910. Indexed as Marsel A Meredith. No helpful details, sadly - just says "spinster"

On a second look at a better image the sister is eleanor Meredith, this may be a red herring.

Her brother seems to be George Frederick Meredith, mmn Burrows, birth reg Jun qtr 1890 Hereford.

Could the father have been twice married, with Maysie being from the first and her birth year being earlier than on the census?

Thanks so much for the ship information,I fear it's not correct as she did not have a sister called Eleanor from London...I still think she has died as she's not mentioned in the census for 1911 (only as a missing/dead child)

I fear I'll have to buy some birth certificates.
