Hello ,Looking for a wedding in Jan,feb,march quarter 1915 in Whitchurch Shropshire between John William Frost & May Edge,would like to find out if his father is john frost (carriage driver) Thanks ,I think the ref is 6a 1139

1139 is quite a high number in that district/quarter, possibly registry office

Don't really want to pay as it  isn't actually my tree so I might just pass the info on,if they want to research it further,just thought you kind folks might of had access to the parish registers

At Shropshire BMD it has the reference C-NS31/5/99. Does that mean anything to anyone?

Even if it isn't a register office marriage, I don't think any registers are online as late as 1915, so you might only be able to find the information by ordering a certificate.

Mudmonster, do you have any more info re John, ie dob, death, where he died.

There were two births in the county, one died age 1. No clear census for the one below.
I think John was not born in the County. The following for further information.

Hello, yes ,I have more information on him John W Frost  baptised Stinsford Dorset 12/2/1892 died 20/9/1915 in  Turkey (Helles Memorial) onboard ship If this is the right John Frost his  regiment and numbers are the same he is one of 14     big family!!

His service record names his father as John William Frost of Pengwein Lodge, Rhuddlain , Flintshire.  You should be able to find him in the 1911 census and work from there.

The marriage took place 3 March 1915 in Whitchurch. The service record states it was conducted by Sydney Drysdale, Rector. Witnesses were Lillie Thomas and Joseph Thomas Edge.

Hello ,Millmore,Yes ,I had all that some nice person on here found the 1911 cencus for me,I had been looking for weeks for it.Ancestry for some reason hasn't the 1911 records (DoH) I just wonder on the pension payslip the army do May Edge(frost) has no knowledge of John's family?
