It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of time and effort RootsChatters are prepared to put in to helping fellow members.  Your responses have revealed valuable information I would not have otherwise have known.  Thank you all.

Thanks to the images which Spades sent I have been able to identify three further article which could be of interest.  All of the articles are to be found in the “Marlborough Express”.  The first one is an article headed, “Fifty years in Picton”, dated 18th November 1905.  The second on is an Obituary of Sarah Jane Cooke, Anne Fuller’s daughter, dated 14th November 1931, which reports on the early arrival of Anne Fuller (Taylor) and her Family, although I don’t know how close this is to Sarah Jane Cooke’s Obituary in the “Poverty Bay Herald” which Minniehaha kindly provided a link to.  The third one is an article celebrating the Family’s Centenary in New Zealand and is dated 11th November 1955.

If anyone can access any of these articles in the “Marlborough Express”, I would appreciate the link.

Thank you.

Tina.

For the 1955 one, an approach to the libraries might be required.
I see today and also on jan 6th, there is a genealogical drop in day, so someone should be able to help.
