Looking for mother William Sandford

My apologies for this, but we appear to have two people called William Sandford alive at the same time!

William Sandford - born 1828 - son of John and Eliza - baptised Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire.
AND
William Sandford, mmn = Cairns, registered 1854 in Newcastle on Tyne (a previous child with the same name born 1851 and died 1853 in Newcastle on Tyne)

Or am I missing something?

Mother Elizabeth ??
Had one son and one daughter with John Sandford
Daughter Elizabeth born 1826 and William 1828
Elizabeth lived in Bethnal Green Middlesex 1851
1861 same place Oct 1870 William Sandford died in St Olave Southwark London age 42
AND
William Sandford, mmn = Cairns, registered 1854 in Newcastle on Tyne (a previous child with the same name born 1851 and died 1853 in Newcastle on Tyne)

Or am I missing something?

My apoligies. Should have checked 1851 Census. It appears that this was wrong John Sandford  I was sent these records by reader from Ancestry and thought it to be gospel. So he was not the son of John Sandford c1811 Ireland. 
I was convinced this was right family as it mentioned James Sandford who was born 1844 in Scotland he I know for a fact was part of our family as I have his marriage certificate and then other members of our line. I am sorry I caused so much confusion.
