Meara, Sullivan. Kenmare

Hi folks, I'm hoping someone can help please
Denis Meara married Mary Sullivan April 1829, Templenoe, Co Kerry
They had a daughter Catherine born June 1830 in Kenmare (my 2 g/grandmother)
I can't find anything else in the Church records about Denis and Mary. Is there anywhere else I could look?
Several trees on Ancestry have Denis O'Mara in USA with another wife and several children, I don't think it's him??

Also of interest....I know there are a lot of Sullivan branches, but does any have connection to the name Fuller? This was passed down as a second name in the family for a couple of generations.

I am checking that the church records you refer to are from this website

if not this is a good resource. Although the marriage record has not been copied it does show that the witnesses were James Farrell and John Sullivan. 

Sometimes to give a bit of a kick start to stalled research it is an idea to search out these witnesses and see how they connect to those getting married.  A sort of parallel tack to your original resource. 

I see the sponsors for Catherine are Patrick and Margaret Sullivan. 

I also looked at all the Meara marriages for Kenmare. To build up more of a picture of the parents you could investigate each marriage and map them by families. There seem to be a few Meara/Suliivan marriages. Also remember that spellings can change Mara, O'Mara, Meara, Marah etc etc.

Re Fuller.  If this appears in later generations (from Denis & Mary) in your family it may be that the Fuller name was brought into the family by a marriage and may be part of that person's family rather than the Meara family. 

Having said that there is a baptism in Kenmare in 1822 Mary Shea whose mother is Honora Fular and one of the sponsors is an Ellen Sullivan.

There is a marriage in 1837 between James Brien and Johanna Sullivan where one of the witnesses is Edmund Fuller and the other is John Sullivan.
