https://www.archivessearch.qld.gov.au/
Item: KINCH, William Henry (archivessearch.qld.gov.au)
Wm Henry insolvent as a plasterer in 1889

https://www.archivessearch.qld.gov.au/
Item: BLANK, Sidney George (Criminal) (shorthand) (archivessearch.qld.gov.au)
Sidney George BLANK had a court appearance in Qld in March 1929.
YEs I noticed those too.
The court case is for a lad of 18 years - so I discounted it.

Death
Alice BLANK
b. about 1857
Died at Yarrawonga, Victoria in 1899

I think that death in Vic is interesting and something for Dianna to follow up on.

The witness's are Samuel John CASTLE and E.S.ROACH.  I don't know what I have already mentioned about the Marriage cert but it say's that Sidney George BLANK'S father was a Plasterer, both Alice and Henry Stockman Blank deceased.  Both Sid and wife Beatrice were residents of WAGGA WAGGA.  Sid born Devonshire, England

Some rambling thoughts here.

Burton and Gertrude AVES the parents of Beatrice AVES were in Wagga in 1911 when a son was born there. Arthur.

The following and previous births had been in other parts of NSW.

Beatrice would be 15/16 at that time and possibly stayed behind in Wagga when her parents moved on.

Their next child seems to be born at Manilla.

Sue

Hi everyone received this today and I'm now just waiting for Henry S. BLANKS death certificate:-

Mary Maria Pethybridge made complaint that William Uglow, who had been adjudged the father of her little girl and ordered to pay 2s 6d per week towards its support, had failed to do so for 36 weeks, and in addition to that there was a balance due of 2s 6d towards the costs. Defendant did not then appear, but a warrant was issued and before the court rose he was present, having been fetched from his work, and was sent to prison for 6 weeks.

The newspaper is Western Times 26 June 1874.  Will keep you posted.

ALSO:- Mary Elizabeth b 1873 is with her grandparents in 1881 (the Mills).

I think that in 1891, she is 'Bessie' with 2 daughters: Alice Maud b 1889 and Ellen b1890.

Ellen is registered with the middle names 'Lavinia Venus' and there is a marriage in 1898 of a Mary Elizabeth Petherbridge to a John Albert Venus.  Regards Dianna

Yippeeee!  :D
I have had a feeling we were going to get some information from his death certificate.

So I am thinking the death certificate for Alice Blank in Victoria should be your next investment.
