Searching for my Grandfather's Birth Family! (Ryall)
« on: Monday 14 December 20 21:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi all, so the issue with tracing my family tree is that my Grandfather, Harold Peach, is adopted. We know his mother is Ivy Ryall (Born 1919, Wincanton) and that she sadly passed away in 2005 before my Grandfather was able to contact her. I'm looking to try and track down any living relatives. We know she had another child and that she married William T Haggett. The Ryall family are completely unaware of his existence. Any information is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Rootschat

Sorry - but we cannot help with living relatives as Rootschat rules do not allow that info to be posted to protect peoples privacy.

The marriage you mention was in 1969 by which time Ivy was too old to have any more children.

Ah that's fine. In that I'd like to know a little more about Ivy. You're right about the marriage, but it looks like she had another child before her marriage (would be a woman with the married name of Mould.

Ivy had 2 siblings - both deceased but a tree on Ancestry also shows some half siblings

You may want to take a look at the tree & perhaps contact the tree owner who may have info re living relatives.

I have messaged the tree owner with the link to this post

Would that be the Cross tree by any chance? Yes I've also tried contacting them. Thanks a lot for your help
