A google search "Europeans in East Africa" has details of Trevor Goth's 1948 marriage, parents, death in Mombassa and occupation " Veterinary officer, appointed 1938".

Just for info, Trevor's parents were James & Henrietta James. Father died 16,7,1942

Felt there was a previous marriage to 1938 - the papers had a Mr and Mrs Trevor Chamberlain prominent in Eastbourne in 1934.

Nanny Jan  sorry about the typo on S. Africa I was also looking for Eleanors family leaving Devon for  S. Africa - found them coming back into UK but not Eleanor.
