Late baptism....

 Tom ...... Rose......Annie.......Edward. Exton all baptised 8 October 1884.

 St Botolph Lincoln?( Listed wrongly I think)

 Father Thomas a tailor  mother Annie of 2 Shepherds buildings.


 Rose b 1880
 Tom b 1879
Edward b 1882.

 Also William Robert B 1877.

There is a copy of the above baptism on Find My Past but I think you can only see the image if you have a paid subscription. My understanding of the Rootschat rules is that I cannot post it here.

I knew his daughter and she said his name was Edward Vincent Exton
EXTON, from Rutland, Stamford, Boston, Lincoln. LANES, from Coleby,to Bracebridge Lincoln.WAKEFIELD,PROUDMAN Cheshire and  Stafford.<br />PINDAR, MOORE, ,CHAMBERS mostly from Lincolnshire.
LAING from Elgin ,Scotland.
 HADDELSEY from Caistor,and Grimsby Lincolnshire.                   
 Parfitt, Le Gros ,Le Sueur, from Jersey.
Martin, from Doncaster  to whelyn garden city, London.

Presumably you mean the 1939 National Register?
There was no census during WW2.

But it doesn't include all those who signed up! ;D

And it was used originally for Identity Cards and Ration Books.
Later taken over by the NHS, and updated by them until the 1990's.
