Just seen on the military papers a copy of the death reg for son which is enclosed and realised that Waddell was a middle name for wife Jessie. Robert Brown Hogg born 1914 died 1919.

Well done Rosie  :)

Not surprisingly, looks like many of the family were buried at Larkhall Cemetery. This must be Robert, father www.findagrave.com/memorial/136386711/robert-brown-hogg

It isn't, is it Rosie?! This is the young son of William and wife Jessie who died on this date.

Claycrop, can I ask a question? Which of the sons of Robert Brown Hogg and wife Janet was father to this Robert Brown Hogg b. 1914 in Larkhall https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Hogg_(footballer,_born_1914)

Just curious. This must be why there two birth registrations for that name in 1914 in Larkhall that I mentioned earlier. One the son of William and wife Jessie, and the other?
