Thanks Gadget!...

I didn't have time to search myself & for some reason (CTRL + f) didn't work for me which would mean literally scrolling each?

I have sent Jim a PM with information.

Did you manage to find some confirmation on her birth date? Just curious me  ::)

I noted David Reid Laverie died "16 Feb 1927 Glenburnie Cottage, Glen Luce, Wigtonshire, Scotland"

Has an MI been sought/found for him which may not provide a maiden name for Margaret?

An example, it may simply read "his wife Margaret..."?

Has anyone got access to the local papers. I've checked the BNA. The online  Wigtownshire Free Press doesn't show anything.

That is what I thought. Robert Reid Leverie burial details show:

Death Date: 16 Feb 1927
Death Place: Glenburie
Burial Date: 19 Feb 1927
Burial Place: Glenluce, Wigtownshire, Scotland
Grave Number: 358
Interment Number: 31

Wife Margaret shows the same grave number and interment number 21. Gadget, any thoughts on what interment number means here? If it is the number of people buried in one grave....seems a lot unless it was common ground? Not sure.

Ancestry have these details on her death and burial:

Death Date: 4 Mar 1914
Death Place: Glenburnie
Burial Date: 7 Mar 1914
Burial Place: Glenluce, Wigtownshire, Scotland
Grave Number: 358
Interment Number: 21

I have both MI booklets for Glenluce and there is nothing in there with her name, i also took photos of every stone in the kirkyard about 10 years ago and i thin I've through them all but nothing. I wonder if there s a map of the plots somewhere that might help.
