Marina Helen Niven b 1895 Scotland d 1989 ? Lower Hutt NZ

Hi all
I have found her birth and emigration details and know she lived in 21 White Line ,Hutt in 1978 and have been told she died in 1989 a spinster , but can find no details in any of the online local cemeteries as to where she could be buried or cremated or even when she died. There was no family in NZ  at that time to ask.

Died 11 April 1989

There must be a typo for her death registration as I cannot find it in the indexes.

Yes that's it I know she came over as a servant , she was always known as Auntie Matt or Matilda . Thank you for that it ends a line for me. Didn't expect a will that's a bonus.

1928 Hutt - Woburn, Lower Hutt, Spinster
1935, 1938, 1946, 1949, 1954, 1957 ("Woburn") Hutt - Woburn Road, Lower Hutt, Spinster
1963 Petone - 282 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt, Spinster
1969 Hutt - 18 Bridgecourt Flats, Spinster
1972 Hutt - 27 Whites Line West, Spinster
1981 Western Hutt - 18/27 Whites Line West, Spinster

Following is the link to the Will of Zoe Riddiford in which a bequest of 600 pounds is left to " Maid Helen Niven".  Zoe Riddiford died in1959/37764 age 76 years.

Zoe's husband Edward Vivian Riddiford died at sea on the "Rangitiki" on 10 October 1934, preceeding from Panama to NZ, ex England.  He was buried at sea, Latitude 12.26 South Latitude 107.46 West on 10 October 1934 - source Statement of Donald MacPherson of Monte Carlo, Surgeon on "Rangitiki" included as part of the Probate Record on Family Search.  I have not included the link as there was no bequest in his Will to Marina Helen Niven.

Edward Vivian Riddiford was a Sheep Farmer.

Thank you these are the bits that make researching your family worthwhile and interesting I struggled to find anything about her even though I now live in nz . There is no one back home of that generation to pass it on so thank you for this information. Regards alex

Could this be that niece? [When looking for her death under Lorna Donaldson, it comes up as the following]:

2011/1438   Baguley   Lorna   26 August 1930

No sorry Lorna Donaldson is my mothers sister and died in Banchory Scotland.

Yes I have since discovered that the above Lorna was married to a Baguley at the time Marina's will was executed. So back to square one.
