Just a short note to those who haven't found people on the censuses, my great-great-great grandparents weren't on one of the censuses, and knowing they were living in the same place all the time made me very angy, I only found them by chance when looking for another person who happened to live near them and was on the same page - they were the last two at the bottom, luckily I always look down the pages otherwise I would have never found them! Another time the person transcribing it made a mistake on the surname and information and wrote about the person on the same page above my ancestor, that was also a lucky find looking for someone else! A friend of mine has had it really bad, one of her ancestors had completely different names in three censuses, she only found out because they were living in the same house all the time and the children were there, but it took her a long time to find them, going down lists of names which were nothing like the one she was looking for! So, don't give up, I know you may feel like strangling someone sometimes, but, we have to remember they are human being s doing their best, and it must be really difficult trying to read names you have never heard of before. BUT, I think that if we are paying for things, then there should be people checking each other's pages so that these things don't happen as much as they do.
