Vaccine text message scam
« on: Wednesday 06 January 21 22:05 GMT (UK) »
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but repeating it won't hurt in this case. New scam text message doing the rounds, the typo might alert people but others might not spot it.

Oh dear, someone desperate to have the jab will fall for that without asking why do they need bank details. The NHS is more likely to ask for your NHS number.

I got it from a friend on WhatsApp, asking for people to warn family and friends, particularly anyone who might be vulnerable. So I'm letting the Rootschat family know,  :)

Luckily she was alright, he could have injected her with anything!

I think there needs to be a lot of television, radio and newspaper advertising telling people that there will never be any charge for the vaccine and people won't knock at your door offering it.
