Richard Turner born 1886 help please

Hi, Im looking for a Richard Turner, who according to his war records was born 30 October 1886 in Rawmarsh, Rotherham. He married an Alice Proctor in 1909 in Grimethorpe Barnsley, and his father was given as James William Turner, miner. I know they had a son called Walter Turner in 1910 as he is on the 1911 census with his mother and father, but when Walter married in 1930, Richard Turner had already died. Any help with either a birth/death for Richard or any earlier census records would be really great, pleeeeese xx Thanks in advance

When you say find records - he may be on the 1891 census in Rawmarsh with his father simply shown as William, aged 48, born Doncaster. A Miner.

Richard is 1 on this census -- or have you seen that and discounted it? All children born Rawmarsh.

EDIT -- sorry - meant to mention there was also a son Walter aged 17. This does seem to be a Methodist family. This particular Richard baptised at Upper Haugh Wesleyan Methodist Church 30 Oct 1889 -- but I do agree birth year is a bit 'out' from what you say.

no probs, we seem to have the same idea anyway. 

1901 census Maria with different husband, but her sister Phoebe Lawton is in the household. Also, Richard is slightly older than should be, but old enough to work.
