Birth Information for Stephen Denny children

I am searching for the family name of Stephen Denny's wife Catherine.  They had 11 children. The first three were born in Canada.  The next 3 in New York.  Maxim - 1843, Joseph - 1844 and Margerett - 1846 according to the US 1850 census.  The next 5 were born in Michigan.  Leipre Ann - 1848, Lewis - 1849, David - 1852 and Henry - 1858.  I have not been able to find birth information on any of these children and would appreciate all assistance.

Their daughter Catherine (b.1837) died as Catherine Wheeler in 1904. Her death certificate has the mother's name as Catherine Wheeler, which is the same as hers?  Confusion and a mistake?

The other children who died in Michigan with a death certificate have the father's name, but list the mother's name as unknown.

Thank you for your suggestions.  Catherine (b. 1837) second husband was Alexander Wheeler so without further sources I doubt Catherine (b. 1812) family name was Wheeler or Wheller.  My search continues.
