Re army uniform

Hi this is my Grandad Arthur Charles Wood who was born in Brighton. He was born in1899, so l presume it was taken during the first world war. I wondered if anyone knew what uniform he is wearing.

Do you know where he lived? the sleeve badge looks like Machine Gun Corps

The cap badge is not clear, but could be the Royal Sussex Regiment:

Can you post close-up images of the cap badge and the proficiency badges on his sleeve?
The bottom badge on the sleeve looks like a marksman.

Hi thanks for replies. I don't have the original photo and when l zoom in it just looks blurry. He lived in Brighton all of his life.
