Help with a brickwall with a fresh pair of eyes.
« on: Wednesday 20 January 21 13:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi Guys,

Can anyone please possibly help with a brickwall that I have had for years now? maybe a set of fresh eyes might help me solve it, it has been driving me nuts for years and maybe there is somewhere I haven't looked.

I have been trying to research my 5th great grandparents William and Mary Bleach. The information I have at the moment is:

They had 4 children: Jane 1796, Edward (my 4th great grandad) 1799, Diana 1805, James 1807. I haven't found any birth/baptism records at all for them but I have found a Removal Order dated 1812 with all their ages and according to census records they were born in Lambeth. The Removal Order moves them from Newington to Wandsworth. I have no records for William but his wife Mary is in an 1841 census with her son Edward and his family and I also have her death record for 1844 Newington stating Widow of William Bleach labourer and Edwards wife Hannah was present at the death.

I am really having problems trying to locate his marriage to Mary and birth/baptism records for both William and Mary.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ann
