PP - you may have already found this info. but just in case you haven't......

Going back to my reply 4 wife of John Keily Susan’s surname given a Barlay - I think it should be TAYLOR

GRO indexes 1905 birth entry for son Francis Purcell Kiely mmn TAYLOR

This would be John & Susan’s marriage entry

John Kiely
Sep 1903 Kingsbridge Devon Volume:   5b Page:   435
Female name on same page
Susan Taylor

There’s a Susan Taylor born c1881 London (parents Joseph & Susan)
on 1891c RG13; Piece: 2079; Folio: 24; Page: 5

I wonder where the middle ‘PURCELL’ comes from……..if I remember correctly Nicholas & Emily’s son Nicholas Kiely born 1871 also had ‘PURCELL’ as a middle name on his death record 1871 (added  - see reply 15)

I know we are going back and forth here so apologies if already found and posted.

I have been looking for Edward’s birth and couldn’t find it.
I had seen Arthur here in 1876 and assumed he had died because of the later Arthur in the census.

Here is the later birth for Arthur

Has anyone found Emily (Boyce),s death?

Heywood posted this

Death of Emily Kiely, aged 65 yrs in 1909 - widow of a shoemaker

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1909/05467/4530209.pdf

this Emily born c 1844

I've been looking for a Keily/Boyce/Boice marriage but not found one proving very elusive  ???

I was wondering if perhaps Nicholas Keily may have been previously married but not found anything to support this theory  :-\

I think that Arthur b 1876 is likely to be Edward.

Also Edward presumably converted to Catholicism on his marriage to Margaret Durnin.

Talking with my Mother, she seems to think there is a Link to the Purcell family as she remembers hearing about them when she was young in Kilkenny.
